This week at Bear's House Nurseries we have done our activities a little differently to normal, due to the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
As a whole we have been creating a flower wreath in memory of The Queen. The children have enjoyed creating flowers out of tissue paper and choosing colours they think The Queen would have liked.
Big Bears have been discussing our Royal Family during circle time and how the world around them may change, such as money, stamps etc, since we now have a King.
Baby Bears have enjoyed getting stuck in with marmalade sandwiches with Paddington Bear and The Queen, with a tuff tray filled with rice snaps for them to explore different textures. They also made some scones in memory of The Queen to take home for their families.
All three Bear's House Nurseries will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022, to allow everyone to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign. We will open as usual on Tuesday 20 September.
