In the New Year there have been lots of fun filled activities covering all areas of learning taking place throughout the nursery. To help with this, our parents have been fantastic in sharing resources from home, to support the children’s play and learning within these topics.
Babies have been exploring a ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ themed Sensory table, and we have received junk modelling from parents to help in creating their own caves.
Toddlers have been creating their own Fairy Wings and sharing favourite fairytales, stories from home.
Pre-school have been creating their very own natural resource stick men, using sticks collected from family walks.
As we step into another year of preparing the children for school, the pre-school have also been focusing on the importance of Road Safety. We have had a couple of small trips out, looking at Zebra Crossings and learning lots about the Traffic Lights.
